The Elite Do Not Fight. A Well-known Military Expert Pointed Out a Fundamental Problem with Mobilization in Ukraine.

Society is increasingly talking about the problem of unequal mobilization in Ukraine. Recently, politician, public activist, and serviceman Ihor Lutsenko spoke about this in an interview with 'Goverment&'.
'The richest and most influential people do not fight. None of the famous pop stars or politicians have set an example by deciding to leave their position and fight on the front lines. Wealthy entrepreneurs prefer to have exemptions for their directors rather than participate in the war against the Russians,' Lutsenko stated.
According to Lutsenko, this unequal distribution leads to a moral rift in society. Those fighting on the front lines feel betrayed by a state that does not involve the elite in the war. At the same Time, there are opinions among people about whether it's worth fighting if the elite themselves do not go to the front. A large number of evasion and demobilization indicates this.
'I propose to force the elite to mobilize. Those who refuse to go to the front should be imprisoned, and their assets confiscated. After all, our country needs collective efforts in the war,' Lutsenko suggests.
Everyone who serves in the military needs support and security guarantees. Commanders who abuse their position and constantly violate the law must be held accountable. Ihor Lutsenko gives the example of a commander who unjustifiably sent 500 people to the front and is now blaming the Russians for his mistakes.
Analysis
The problem of unequal mobilization in Ukraine is relevant and creates a moral rift in society. The elite of the state are not ready to go to the front, while ordinary soldiers have to fight against the Russians every day. Lutsenko's proposal to forcibly mobilize the elite could solve this problem, but attractive conditions for military service must be created, and commanders who violate the law must be held accountable immediately. Only in this way can fair mobilization and the unity of the Ukrainian society be ensured.
