“And this is when it will be possible to implement the work of search groups in those areas where hostilities took place, in those areas that are currently gray zones, and, of course, in the occupied territories,” the representative explained.

Currently, Ukraine has a Unified Register of Missing Persons, which includes all cases of disappearances starting from 2014. Relatives of the missing can receive a deferral from mobilization, as well as the right to free legal assistance.
