Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, let's remember Stepan Bilyi.
Stepan Bilyi, a fighter of the 'Azov' brigade, was killed in the fight against Russian occupiers. This was reported by the Zymnivodivska rural council of the territorial community.
Stepan Bilyi was a resident of the village of Sukhovolya, near Lviv.
He served in the 12th special purpose brigade of the National Guard 'Azov' (military unit 3057). He was a sergeant, a member of the mortar crew of the mortar platoon of the 2nd company of special purpose (on armored personnel carriers) of the 2nd battalion of special purpose.
The farewell to the hero took place on November 28, 2024, in the yard where the defender lived, then the funeral procession headed to the St. Ivan the Theologian Church of the village of Sukhovolya.
Brother, you were one of the most sincere and positive people in that world! You even knew how to show the war from its funny side! Just as long as they didn't worry at home! But it took you away... Heroes die and it hurts a lot... Eternal memory to you, Stepan!
The defender is survived by his mother, father, brother, and fiancée Daria.
'Glavkom' joins the moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the fight for their homeland. We remember those who fell at the hands of Russian invaders, lighting candles of memory and bowing our heads in mourning during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against the Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack by hostile troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
