Explosions in the Rostov region: did the drones become a target?
On the night of February 6, several explosions occurred in the Rostov region (Russia). According to air defense forces in the region, the presence of drones was recorded.
According to RBC-Ukraine, referencing local sources, explosions were heard in Rostov, Taganrog, Bataisk, Azov, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, and Myasnikovsky districts.
'The loudest was heard in Taganrog, Kamensky-Shakhtinsky, and Myasnikovsky districts,' users write on social media in Rostov.
There are also reports of active air defense operations in the region and possible downing of drones.
Videos of 'bangs' in the Rostov area have also appeared online.
On the evening of the previous day, Rostov monitoring channels warned about the threat of air attacks on Rostov, Azov, and Bataisk.
After that, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky was added to the list of cities that could be targeted by drones. According to the Radar Rostov resource, there are also claims of 'missile danger' for Millerovo.
The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, reported that Russian air defense destroyed drones in Kamensk, Donetsk, Kamensky, Millerovsky, and Chortkiv districts. It was noted that there is currently no information about casualties or destruction.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, reported the arrival of one of the warehouses with 'Shaheds' to Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Krasnodar region.
