Ukrainian Armed Forces increase presence on Russian territory - expert.

The confrontation in the Kursk region of Russia between Ukrainian and Russian forces continues. The Russian army is struggling, suffering significant losses, reported military expert Dmytro Sniehiriov on the FREEДОМ channel.
It has been noted that the Russian offensive has practically stalled near Mala Loknia. Ukrainian defense forces have seized the initiative and carried out successful counterattacks in Makhnivka, which is fully under the control of the Ukrainian armed forces. This indicates the continuation of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
'The Russians have problems expanding the zone of presence of Ukrainian armed forces on their territory, including in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions,' Sniehiriov emphasized.
Strong strikes have also been delivered by Ukrainian forces against Russian military units and the North Korean contingent. Tactical strikes have also been carried out on military logistics not only in the Kursk region but also in the Bryansk, Belgorod, and Oryol regions.
'The Russian army has suffered significant losses during the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, losses are estimated at 35-38 thousand people. The most powerful Russian military units, such as the marine brigade, airborne divisions, and special forces divisions of the Rosgvardia, which are the 'elite' of the Russian army, are located in the Kursk region. In addition, the losses among North Korean servicemen amount to about 4 thousand. Only in the Kursk region, the number of North Korean military personnel is about 12 thousand and they are part of the assault corps,' explained Dmytro Sniehiriov.
